Caracterización de las principales enfermedades del cerezo (Prunus avium l.) presentes en la región del Biobío.

Abstract

El cerezo es un árbol de hoja caduca presente en más de 40 países. Su fruto se caracteriza por presentar atributos que son beneficiosos para la salud humana, lo cual ha potencia el aumento en su producción apostando por sistemas de alta intensidad. El objetivo de este trabajo es discutir la importancia económica del cultivo del cerezo, describir las 17 enfermedades producidas por: virus, hongos y bacterias presente en Chile, y cuales son sus estrategías de control integrado. Y un análisis de las medidas de control de enfermedades del cerezo que utilizan los productores en la región de Ñuble. Para ello, se hizo un análisis de la producción mundial de la cereza y de la evolución de la superficie plantada de cerezo en Chile. En cuanto a las enfermedades se decribió la sintomatología de cada una y sus estrategías de control. En Chile se encuentran presente seis enfermedades de origen por virus, seis de origen por hongos y cinco de origen bacterial. Para el control de la enfermedades en huerto por los productores de Ñuble, el total de encuestados desinfectó las tijeras de poda, usó sellante de cortes e integró un buen control de maleza.

The cherry tree is a deciduous tree present in more than 40 countries. Its fruit is characterized by presenting attributes that are beneficial for human health, which has boosted the increase in its production, betting on high-intensity systems. The objective of this work is to discuss the economic importance of cherry cultivation, describe the 17 diseases produced by: viruses, fungi and bacteria present in Chile, and what are their integrated control strategies. And an analysis of cherry tree disease control measures used by producers in the Ñuble region. For this, an analysis of the world cherry production and the evolution of the area planted with cherry in Chile was made. Regarding the diseases, the symptoms of each one and their control strategies were described. In Chile there are six diseases of viral origin, six of fungal origin and five of bacterial origin. For the control of diseases in the orchard by the producers of Ñuble, the total number of respondents disinfected the pruning shears, used cut sealant and integrated good weed control.
