Esta investigación es de carácter cualitativo, con un diseño de investigación acción. Como técnica de recolección de datos se utilizaron grupos focales, donde participaron estudiantes y apoderados; además, se utilizó una entrevista en profundidad enfocada en la docente de la asignatura de lenguaje y comunicación del establecimiento educacional. El análisis se realizó a través del análisis de contenido. Los resultados evidencian un aumento positivo en la motivación lectora de los estudiantes, concluyendo que las Tertulias Literarias Dialógicas, favorecen la motivación y el autoconcepto lector de los estudiantes, además de desarrollar habilidades que fomentan el hábito lector.The objective of this study was to analyze the reading motivation of fifth grade students in a municipal school, during and after an intervention with dialogic literary gatherings. This research is qualitative in nature, with an action research design. Focus groups were used as a data collection technique, where students and parents participated; in addition, an in-depth interview was used focused on the teacher of the language and communication subject of the educational establishment. The analysis was carried out through content analysis.
