Drought is one of the most devastating natural hazards for agriculture. The proportion of droughts has increased globally, exceeding 40 % over the last two decades. Chile's main basins experienced extreme water stress between 2010 and 2020. In this context, quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.), a plant naturally tolerant to climatic adversities such as drought, emerges as a promising alternative. This research evaluated the yield response and the volume of water applied in a quinoa crop under three irrigation strategies in greenhouse conditions. The "Regalona" variety was used, establishing three treatments: irrigation every two days (T1), every four days (T2), and every six days (T3). The objective was to determine production parameters and analyze yield components, quantifying the water applied from the grain-filling phase to physiological maturity. The results showed that the most frequent irrigation regime (T1) achieved the best yield. It was observed that, although the volume of water applied varied between T2 and T3, there were no statistically significant differences in yield between the two.esCC BY-NC-ND 4.0 DEED Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 InternationalQuinoaRiego AdministraciónSequíasRelación entre régimen de riego y rendimiento en el cultivo de quinua (Chenopodium quinoa willdenow) bajo condiciones controladas.Thesis
