The objective of this work was to evaluate the possibility of obtaining a compost that meets the quality indicators that the Chilean standard requires for this type of product, from equine manure obtained from a farm located in Curicó. The composting process will be accelerated using reactors, which for the purposes of this research will be laboratory scale. Prior to the experimental stage, a bibliographic analysis was carried out, with the objective of determining the operating range of the reactors and differences in the characteristics of the different raw materials. With the analysis, different tests will be launched, which will be evaluated after the process, determining which of them obtained the best results and concluding improvements for the development of the process and the quality of the product.
