Item Análisis técnico-económico de una vivienda cero energía neta en zonas rurales del sur de Chile.(Universidad de Concepción, 2023) Vera Mora, Jessica Loreto; Fissore Schiappacasse, Adelqui AndrésIn Chile there are still houses with energy and water poverty. Part of the population that is affected is located in the southern area, so this work studies the technical and economic feasibility of modifying a typical house of the area into a zero net energy house with a sustainable approach to water. Villarrica and San Juan de la Costa are chosen as the localities to be studied due to the presence of the affected population and the fact that both sites present different climatic conditions. The housing is characterized using the "Final report of energy uses of households in Chile 2018", from which the typology of the house and the consumption of appliances for each zone are obtained. With this information, the internal gains throughout the year are calculated and the home is modeled using TRNSYS software to obtain the thermal energy in heating needed to maintain comfort conditions. On the other hand, the possibility of installing a rainwater collection system on the roof of the home to supply the house with water for non-potable uses is studied. This system should be complemented by obtaining drinking water by means of a water supply system to have a continuous supply throughout the year. It also aims to heat domestic water using air-water heat pumps to avoid the use of liquefied gas. The electricity consumption of this equipment and all other equipment in the house is supplied by photovoltaic panels. Finally, through an economic study, it is verified that the project is viable in terms of a zero-energy house, and that if it also focuses on obtaining water by a means other than water trucks, it can save $39,420,000 per year per house.
