Abstract
La actividad física es el propio movimiento del cuerpo, se puede llevar a cabo en cualquier lugar y momento de la vida, es una actividad diversificada puesto que se puede estructurar, planificar y organizar no hay límites es para todos y todas, inclusive para las personas con discapacidad intelectual. El objetivo del estudio es conocer las características y los efectos de las intervenciones basadas en actividad física en adolescentes con Discapacidad intelectual en el contexto educativo. El método utilizado fue una estrategia de revisión sistemática en las bases de datos digitales de Google académico, Pubmed y Web of Science, entre los años 2018 a 2023, lo que dio como resultado un total de 305 resultados, de los cuales se seleccionaron 12 artículos que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados destacaron las principales características de las intervenciones, en cuanto a su durabilidad, variables, instrumentos y principal resultado. Se concluye a través de la información recabada, que las intervenciones con actividad física en estudiantes adolescentes con discapacidad intelectual traen consigo mejoras significativas en las capacidades físicas tales como; la coordinación, el equilibrio, la flexibilidad y la capacidad aeróbica.
Physical activity is the movement of the body itself, it can be carried out anywhere and at any time of life, it is a diversified activity since it can be structured, planned and organized, there are no limits, it is for everyone, including people with intellectual disabilities. The objective of the study is to know the haracteristics and effects of interventions based on physical activity in adolescents with intellectual disabilities in the educational context. The method used was a systematic review strategy in the digital databases of Google académico, Pubmed and Web of Science, between the years 2018 to 2023, resulting in a total of 305 results, from which 12 articles that met the inclusion criteria were selected. The results highlighted the main characteristics of the interventions, in terms of their durability, variables, instruments and main outcome. It is concluded through the information collected, that interventions with physical activity in adolescent students with intellectual disability bring significant improvements in physical abilities such as; coordination, balance, flexibility and aerobic capacity.
