Abstract
This report focuses on the development and improvement of “LectoEntreno”, a software oriented to improve reading comprehension in educational environments. The project, which arises as an evolution of a previous software, aims to optimize data collection and visualization, in addition to improving the user experience for both students and teachers. The main improvements implemented include the creation of an activity control panel that incorporates graphs and visual data, as well as the option to export this data to Excel. New functionalities were added, such as editing and postponing activities, and an administrator profile was integrated to allow the creation and management of users. In addition, pedagogical strategies were developed, including the association of mini-games to the activities, a mini-game of images or of ordering paragraphs, functions so that the words in the text have a related image, and the diagnostic section was also improved to evaluate the progress of the students more accurately. Unit tests and a validation through the Software Usability System (SUS) were carried out, in which the software obtained a favorable score, confirming its effectiveness and usability. Compared to the previous version, this iteration of the software presents a more complete, robust and efficient user experience, achieving the objectives set at the beginning of the project and providing a solid foundation for future improvements and expansions.
