Abstract
100%), a temperatura cercanas a 25°C.
In this work a new method to obtain polyacrylamides from acrylamide in aqueous solution using potassium trioxalotomanganate (III) as initiator, is developped. The products are amorphous solids with molecular wieght in the range of 50.000 to 5.000.000. The yield is approximately 100&, the temperatura used was around 25°C. The relationships between the temperatura, concentration of the initiator and the molecular wieght is studied. An alternative way for the polymerization genrating the initiator "in situ" is proposed.
