Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar técnica y económicamente diferentes alternativas en control de malezas tanto en el manejo orgánico como convencional en arándano alto (Vaccinium corymbosum L.). Para llevar a cabo el análisis técnico, se recopilo información bibliográfica en revistas científicas en tema de control de malezas bajo manejo orgánico en cultivo de arándano alto. Junto con ello, se reunieron datos de estudios realizados en control de malezas bajo manejo orgánico en la Estación Experimental de la Facultad de Agronomía en la Universidad de Concepción, Chillán; a la vez se realizó entrevista a informantes calificados en el manejo de huertos orgánicos de arándanos. Para el análisis económico, se tomó el precio de cada alternativa en el control de malezas en estudio, para así analizar el costo anual que implica cada alternativa de control. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar cuál es la alternativa más eficiente y económica a la vez para el control de malezas bajo manejo orgánico y compararlo con el manejo convencional. Los resultados indican que el uso de malla antimaleza es la opción más eficiente y económica para el control de malezas.
The present research aimed to evaluate technically and economically different alternatives in weed control both in its organic and conventional management in tall blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.). To carry out the technical analysis, bibliographic information was collected in scientific journals on the subject of weed control under organic management in tall blueberry cultivation. Along with this, data were collected from studies carried out in weed control under organic management at the Experimental Station of the Faculty of Agronomy at the University of Concepción, Chillán; At the same time, interviews were conducted with qualified informants in the management of organic blueberry orchards. For the economic analysis, the price of each alternative in the control of weeds under study was taken in order to analyze the annual cost involved in each control alternative. The objective of this study was to determine which is the most efficient and economical alternative at the same time for weed control under organic management and compare it with conventional management. The results indicate that the use of anti-weed mesh is the most efficient and economical option for weed control.
