Abstract
El presente estudio describe la dinámica en un Jardín Infantil inserto en una
comunidad con población pehuenche de la zona de Alto Bío Bío, con
orientación intercultural. Se espera determinar qué aspectos son importantes
e influyen en el buen funcionamiento del centro educativo en términos de
calidad.
En relación a lo expuesto, se trata de un estudio de caso cuyo foco es un jardín
infantil, ubicado en la comuna de Ralco, Alto Bío Bío. El estudio se centra
en la descripción de la institución educativa y en especial, la composición del
personal educativo, a fin de analizar su trabajo con los niños y significado
para la conservación de su identidad cultural y desarrollo como personas.
Los antecedentes analizados fueron recogidos a través de distintas fuentes
como el Proyecto Educativo Institucional, entrevista a la directora del
establecimiento respecto al funcionamiento de éste y una visita al jardín
infantil para tomar conocimiento in situ de cómo funcionan las actividades
pedagógicas en él.
A partir del estudio realizado a dicho establecimiento, intentamos establecer
los beneficios que conlleva las características del personal que trabaja en esta
institución para los niños y niñas que asisten al jardín infantil.
The present study describes the dynamics in a Kindergarten inserted in a community with Pehuenche population in the area of Alto Bio Bio, with intercultural orientation. It is expected to determine which aspects are important and influence the proper functioning of the educational center in terms of quality. In relation to the above, it is a case study whose focus is a kindergarten, located in the commune of Ralco, Alto Bio Bio. The study focuses on the description of the educational institution and especially the composition of the educational staff in order to analyze their work with children and meaning for the preservation of their cultural identity and development as people. The background analyzed was collected through different sources such as the Institutional Educational Project, interview with the director of the premises regarding its operation and a visit to the kindergarten to take knowledge in situ of how the pedagogical activities work in it. From the study carried out at this school, we try to establish the benefits of the characteristics of the staff working in this institution for children who attend to this kindergarten.
