Abstract

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to God, my parents, and my brother for being the main support in my whole life. Thanks to my encouraging best friend, María Paz Avilez, who stimulated and inspired me to study English, and her support during this long journey. To my best “English” friend, Michael Scruton who helped me loads during my stay in Sheffield, as well as, Jo and Nick Davy for being my “parents” for a month. There are so many people who walked this road beside me, my travel buddies around Europe, to all my friends, and those who were really concerned as Professor Maria Edith for all her support and patience. Last but not least, to my amazing Parkwood Academy MFL team: David Pearson, Amy Owen, Amelia Anson, Alex Booker, Emilie Clotuche, Dinah Stille, Nicole Lasschuit, Joy McGuinness, and Stephen McCabe for being incredible, unconditional, and excellent friends. Have all of them in my heart!
