Abstract
El presente estudio propone estrategias para fortalecer el turismo rural en San Fabián de Alico, considerando su potencial natural y cultural. La recopilación de información secundaria permitió identificar desafíos como la escasa articulación entre actores locales, entre otros. El análisis de información primaria obtenida de entrevistas y encuestas, reveló oportunidades en ámbitos de formación técnica, marketing digital y gobernanza territorial. Ante estos resultados se recomienda la implementación de tres grandes estrategias que son: un programa de capacitación en turismo, el fortalecimiento de estrategias de marketing y la consolidación de redes de colaboración público - privadas. La aplicación de estas medidas debiese permitir una mejora en posicionar a San Fabián como un destino turístico sostenible y competitivo.
This study proposes strategies to strengthen rural tourism in San Fabián de Alico, highlighting its natural and cultural potential. Challenges such as the lack of infrastructure and limited coordination among local actors were identified. Based on the analysis of interviews and surveys, opportunities were determined in areas such as technical training, digital marketing, and territorial governance. Given these results, the implementation of three major strategies is recommended: a tourism training program, strengthening marketing strategies, and consolidating public-private partnership networks. The implementation of these measures should help San Fabián improve its position as a sustainable and competitive tourist destination.
