Abstract
Este proyecto presenta las principales oportunidades de mejora que se encuentran en los procesos de comunicación entre la faena que tiene lugar en la minera Spence, y el taller donde se realizan las mantenciones, ubicado en Calama. Estas oportunidades de mejora se descubren a lo largo del exhaustivo levantamiento de información apoyado por metodologías ligadas a la innovación y design thinking. A través de los descubrimientos se logró identificar una serie de oportunidades, las cuales fueron atacadas en este proyecto con conocimientos en tecnología de la información, programación, inteligencia de negocios y software de gestión de mantenimiento. Estas herramientas fueron utilizadas para potenciar el software Fracttal, que es con cual cuenta la empresa, y que es clave para el desarrollo de este proyecto. Se presentaron dos propuestas de inversión para que la gerencia de apoyo la operación tome la decisión de cuál es la que satisface las necesidades del negocio, dentro de estas propuestas se dan las respuestas a las oportunidades de mejora detectadas en el levantamiento de información, por lo que el diseño de mejora de procesos, permite mejorar la comunicación entre la faena y el taller en cuanto a la gestión del mantenimiento y potenciar la mejora continua a través de indicadores claves de desempeño. Además, el proyecto consigue enfrentar otras dos dimensiones que tienen estrecha relación con la gestión del mantenimiento, mejorando los procesos de Ferrovial Servicios Chile apoyado de tecnología y datos, específicamente incluyendo distintos gráficos, métricas, que permiten el control del mantenimiento preventivo y control de la disponibilidad de la flota.
This project presents the main improvement opportunities found in the communication processes between the operation at SPENCE and the workshop located in Calama. These improvement opportunities are discovered through comprehensive information gathering supported by methodologies linked to innovation and design thinking. Through these findings, a series of opportunities were identified, which were addressed in this project using knowledge in information technology, programming, business intelligence, and maintenance management software. These tools were used to enhance the company's existing software, Fracttal, which is crucial for the development of this project. Two investment proposals were presented for the management of operational support to make a decision on which one best meets the business needs. Within these proposals, solutions to the identified improvement opportunities in the information gathering process are provided. As a result, the process improvement design aims to enhance communication between the operation and the workshop in terms of maintenance management and promote continuous improvement through key performance indicators. Additionally, the project addresses two other dimensions closely related to maintenance management by improving the processes of Ferrovial Servicios Chile through the use of technology and data, specifically incorporating various graphs and metrics to enable preventive maintenance control and fleet availability control.
