| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la situación hídrica histórica y actual del país con respecto al almacenamiento de agua, mediante el uso de series de tiempo de distintos embalses a lo largo del territorio chileno. A partir de este análisis se realizó una investigación para descubrir posibles variaciones fuera del régimen normal de los valores de cotas de dichos embalses, para determinar los patrones y causales del comportamiento en el tiempo. La metodología consistió en una revisión bibliográfica, el análisis de datos considerando las variaciones climáticas para este periodo, observando los cambios a nivel social, ambiental y económico del país, para exponer un tema de interés internacional cuya importancia radica en la relación directa que mantienen los recursos hídricos con el desarrollo del país y la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. De los resultados obtenidos se determinó que los embalses pequeños y de regulación anual presentan una mayor capacidad para enfrentar los escenarios de sequía que han afectado el país, tienden a mantener la tendencia en los valores de cota aun cuando la precipitación se vea comprometida ante escenarios adversos. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this work is to analyze the historical and current water situation of the country with respect to water storage, through the use of time series from different reservoirs throughout the Chilean territory. From this analysis, an investigation was conducted to discover possible variations outside the normal regime of the values of levels of said reservoirs, to determine the patterns and causes of the behavior over time. The methodology consisted of a bibliographic review, the analysis of data considering the climatic variations for this period, observing the social, environmental and economic changes of the country, to expose a topic of international interest whose importance lies in the direct relationship maintained by the water resources with the development of the country and the quality of life of its inhabitants. From the results obtained, it was determined that the small reservoirs and annual regulation have a greater capacity to face the drought scenarios that have affected the country, tend to maintain the trend in the values of elevation even when the precipitation is compromised in adverse scenarios . | en |
