Abstract
In the present project, the feasibility was evaluated to repair a section of 250 meters of the Maitenes-Cuñao canal where the water is lead through tunnels that have been deteriorated, existing possible landslides that have caused that in some seasons of irrigation the resource is reduced. In these tunnels. The bottom of the channel is located approximately to about 6 or 7 meters under the surrounding land and that are maintained by the same irrigators that realise the workings of form cleaning manual. By the previous thing, the water Community of the Maitenes-Cuñao channel looks for to improve the system of water conduction, tubing with Hight Polythene Density (HDPE) the section of 250 meters of the affected channel. Also it was considered to reconstruct a partidor frame to separate waters of the Maitenes channel of the Cuñao derivative. The results obtained in this study, indicated that it is necessary to tube 220 meters of channel with Hight Polythene Density (HDPE) of 1500 mm of diameter, along with 2 cameras of inspection plus a partidor frame. The total cost of the project was of $ 142.556.103.
