dc.description.abstractLas imágenes satelitales son la representación visual de la información capturada por sensores satélites registrando el comportamiento de la superficie terrestre. El Servicio Geológico de los Estados Unidos (USGS) permite el libre acceso a imágenes satelitales Landsat 7, Landsat 8 y MODIS, mediante los sitios web: Earthexplorer, Glovis y ReverbEcho. Estas escenas se encuentran en servidores que restringen hasta dos imágenes por descarga, y que dependen muchas veces de la velocidad de conexión a internet. Por usuario el tiempo de búsqueda promedio en estos sitios web no lleva más allá de 1 minuto. Para los proyectos FONDEF D09I1069 "Estimación de demandas hídricas mediante sensores remotos. Una herramienta al manejo de agua en la agricultura", y Fondecyt 1131092, "Downslope Andean Winds in Southern Central Chile", es necesario una cantidad importante de imágenes satelitales de distribución gratuita. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar un gestor de descarga de imágenes satelitales, optimizando la búsqueda y facilitando su descarga. Se utilizó el compilador SharpDevenlop y lenguaje C#, creando una interfaz gráfica y utilizando el código fuente de los sitios web EarthExplorer y ReverbECHO para acceder a las imágenes satelitales Landsat 7, Landsat 8 y MODIS, y con ello la descarga de grandes volúmenes de imágenes reduciendo el tiempo entre descargas de un minuto a 15 segundos.es
dc.description.abstractSatellite images are the visual representation of the captured information by satellite sensors registered the behavior of the land surface. The Geologic Service of the United States allows the access free to the satellite images Landsat 7, Landsat 8 y MODIS, through the web sites: Earthexplorer, Glovis y ReverbEcho. These scenes are found it in the servers that examine until two images by downloads, depending much times of connection speed to internet. By user the average search time, in these web sites, don’t leave beyond 1 minute. For the FONDEF project "Estimation of water demand by remote sensing. A tool for water management in agriculture ", and Fondecyt 1131092, "Downslope Andean Winds in Southern-Central Chile ", is necessary an important amount of satellite images of free distribution. This work has how objective develop a download manager for satellite imagery, optimizing the search easy downloading. For this work was SharpDevenlop compiler and the C# language, making up a graphic interface and utilizing a code for the Landsat 7, Landsat 8 and MODIS satellite images, and with this the discharge of large volumes of images by reducing the time between downloads.en
