Abstract
Producto del gran aumento de migrantes, la cultura se ha ido transformando y a la vez ha ido ampliando la diversidad cultural en los establecimientos educativos, es por esto por lo que el rol del docente es muy importante, ya que son quienes deben resolver y tomar acciones concretas para responder a los desafíos de esta nueva realidad. Chile se ha convertido en un país en donde las familias migrantes deciden vivir, ya sea para mejorar su calidad de vida u otras situaciones, lo que permite que este país vaya creciendo y nutriéndose de diversas culturas. En este trabajo se presenta una investigación cualitativa que tiene por objetivo indagar sobre las estrategias que utilizan los profesores de matemática de enseñanza básica para integrar a estudiantes migrantes en el aula de matemática y los beneficios para los estudiantes chilenos de esta integración. Se encontró que los docentes de matemáticas utilizan diferentes estrategias para integrar a los estudiantes migrantes al aula de matemática, por ejemplo, contextualizando y enseñando las estrategias de cálculo de las operaciones básicas que traen consigo los estudiantes migrantes.

This is why the role of the teacher is very important, because these are the ones who must solve and take concrete actions to respond to the challenges oh this new reality. Chile has become a country where migrant families decide to live, either to improve your quality of life or other situations, which allows this country to grow and nourish itsel with diverse cultures. In this paper a qualitative research is presented which aims to investigate about the strategies that math teachers of basic education use to integrate migrant students into the math classroom and the benefits for Chilean students of this integration. It was found that math teachers use different strategies to integrate migrant student into the math classroom, for example, contextualizing and teaching the calculation strategies of the basic operations that migrant students bring with them.
