dc.description.abstractEl humedal de Mantagua y las dunas de Ritoque se encuentran en la Región de Valparaíso en la comuna de Quintero. Son dos ecosistemas de gran importancia para la región y para el país por el valor biológico que tienen. Esta investigación se basa en las problemáticas ambientales que han ocurrido en esta zona por la acción humana, entre el año 2006 y 2021. Se usó información de noticias locales y nacionales en cuanto a los daños ocasionados y sus consecuencias en la zona, además de datos obtenidos de la Dirección general de Aguas (DGA) en cuanto a los usos de agua. Con esta investigación se buscó dar una solución a las problemáticas encontradas para que el humedal vuelva a ser un lugar limpio y así brindar un hábitat saludable a las más de 100 especies que allí habitan y que las dunas sigan cumpliendo su función de proteger los sectores aledaños y pueda usarse como una atracción turística sin perder su naturalidad.es
dc.description.abstractThe Mantagua wetland and the Ritoque dunes are located in the region of Valparaíso in the commune of Quintero. They are two ecosystems of great importance for the region and for the country because of their biological value. This research is based on the environmental problems that have occurred in this area due to human action between 2006 and 2021. Information from local and national news was used regarding the damage caused and its consequences in the area, as well as data obtained from the General Water Directorate (DGA) regarding water use. The purpose of this research was to find a solution to the problems encountered so that the wetland would once again become a clean place to provide a healthy habitat for the more than 100 species that live there and so that the dunes would continue to fulfill their function of protecting the surrounding areas and could be used as a tourist attraction without losing their naturalness.en
