Abstract
Este estudio se centra en la creación de una guía informativa dirigida a los responsables de la toma de decisión del proyecto Campus Naturaleza Universidad de Concepción, con el fin de que puedan aplicar estrategias que garanticen una inclusión efectiva, que supere las barreras físicas, sociales y políticas en el acceso a la naturaleza para personas en situación de discapacidad. Para la elaboración de esta guía se definió un guion temático y se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de artículos, manuales y guías sobre accesibilidad a la naturaleza para personas con discapacidad. Este se divide en tres capítulos, el primero aborda conceptos clave relacionados con discapacidad e inclusión, y sobre la importancia del marco normativo nacional. El segundo capítulo se centró en las recomendaciones y criterios a tener en cuenta para garantizar la inclusión dentro del proyecto. Finalmente, el último capítulo ofrece pautas sugeridas por el World Wide Web Consortium, para optimizar la accesibilidad en los soportes digitales del proyecto, ya que también se considera un pilar que refuerza las acciones de educación y recreación en la naturaleza. De esta forma, se destacó la importancia de la accesibilidad como medio para un fin que es la inclusión, el papel que juega la planificación en los entornos naturales, así como su gestión y soportes digitales que facilitan el acceso a la información y ayudan a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas.
This study focuses on the creation of an informative guide addressed to the decision-makers of the Campus Naturaleza University of Concepcion project, so that they can apply specific methodologies to ensure effective inclusion that overcomes physical, social and political barriers. For the elaboration of this guide, a thematic script was defined and a bibliographic review of articles, manuals and guides on accessibility for people with disabilities was carried out. This thematic script is divided into three chapters. the first of which addresses key concepts related to disability and inclusion, and the importance of the national regulatory framework. The second chapter focused on the recommendations and criteria to be taken into consideration to ensure inclusion within the project. Finally, the last chapter offers guidelines suggested by the World Wide Web Consortium, to optimize accessibility in the digital supports of the project, as it is also considered a pillar that reinforces the actions of education and recreation in nature. In this way, the importance of accessibility as a means to an end that is inclusion, the role played by planning in natural environments, as well as its management and digital supports that facilitate access to information and help improve people’s quality life.
