dc.description.abstractLa práctica profesional consiste en un proceso de formación que busca combinar los saberes teóricos que los estudiantes adquieren en la casa de estudios con la experiencia real que se genera en el establecimiento educacional, formando parte de la malla curricular de las universidades que imparten carreras de pedagogía y en donde el alumno en práctica es acompañado por un docente que ejerce en el establecimiento y que se convierte en su mentor. En esta investigación se analizó la influencia que posee el docente mentor en la motivación y vocación de 38 estudiantes de la carrera de Educación Diferencial que realizaron su práctica profesional durante el primer semestre del año 2024. La investigación se llevó a cabo bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y se utilizó una encuesta online que evaluó 7 subcategorías generadas a partir de la revisión bibliográfica que componen la motivación y la vocación. Los resultados de la investigación evidencian que el profesor mentor influye en estas categorías y que, en general, influyen de manera positiva.es
dc.description.abstractThe professional teaching practicum is a training process in which students are intended to combine the theoretical knowledge acquired in college and the experiences lived in an educational institution, being part of the curriculum of every university that offers teaching programs. During this process, students are accompanied by a teacher who works in the designated educational institution, becoming their mentors. This research shows the analysis of the mentor teachers' influence on the motivation and vocation of 38 students from the special teaching program, who performed their professional teaching practicum during the first semester of 2024. The investigation was developed under a quantitative design, by using an online survey that was based on seven subcategories which were generated from the literature review of the motivation and vocation concepts. The results reveal that the mentor teacher does influence on these categories and generally in a positive manner.en
