Abstract
En el presente estudio se indaga sobre la habilidad de representar y su inherente relación con las habilidades argumentar y comunicar, resolver problemas y modelar que se han incorporado en el curriculum de Educación Media en Chile, además se busca recoger información de cómo se desarrolla la habilidad de representar en relación con el profesor y el estudiante. Para esta investigación se hace una revisión bibliográfica de la literatura disponible con respecto a las habilidades matemáticas que están incluidas en el curriculum escolar chileno, con énfasis en la habilidad de representar. La información recopilada se presenta como una monografía. Esta revisión bibliográfica reúne información relevante para la comprensión del rol y uso de la habilidad de representar y de las habilidades: argumentar y comunicar, resolver problemas y modelar en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, desde una perspectiva nacional e internacional con aspectos y ejemplos relativos al profesor y al estudiante.
This study investigates the skill to represent and its inherent relationship with the skills of arguing and communicating, solving problems and modeling that have been incorporated into the curriculum of Secondary Education in Chile, and it also seeks to collect information on how the skill is developed to represent in relation to the teacher and the student. For this research, a bibliographic review is made of the available literature regarding the mathematical skills that are included in the Chilean school curriculum, with emphasis on the skill to represent. The information collected is presented as a monograph. This bibliographic review gathers relevant information for the understanding of the role and use of the skill to represent and the skills: to argue and communicate, solve problems and model in the teaching-learning process, from a national and international perspective with aspects and examples related to the teacher and student.
