Abstract
El canal Ranquililahue extrae sus aguas en la ribera derecha del río Chillán, sistema de riego que abastece a la comuna de Coihueco, ubicada en la región del Bío-Bío en la provincia de Ñuble VIII región.
Se realizó el estudio del diseño de un cambio de trazado en la primera sección manteniendo la bocatoma existente y evaluando tres alternativas.
Con este estudio y mediante un análisis técnico económico se pretende dar solución a problemas de derrumbes y socavación.
Se efectuó un estudio topográfico y modelación en HEC-RAS donde se generaron planos para el canal existente y el nuevo diseño, cubicaciones que dan respuesta del trazado más económico para su construcción.
Se realiza una comparación presupuestaria con respecto al mismo proyecto para condiciones de entubamiento, siendo este un 93% más costoso que el
trazado a canal abierto.
Ranquililahue channel has its intake structure located at the right side of Chillán river, it is a system that supplies irrigation water for a portion of Coihueco county, province of Ñuble, Bio Bio Region. An study for the change of path for the first section of Ranquililahue channel was developed, keeping the existent intake structure, three different alternatives were analyzed, with the purpose of giving a technical and economical answer to the existent problems, where continuous landslides produced by the change of direction of Chillan river have been produced by local scour at the base of the channel. This effect was increased by the earthquake of February 27th 2010. For the study, a topographic map was developed; a HEC-Ras model for the existent channel was setup for all the analyzed alternatives for the new path. The final budget is the answer for the most economical constructive alternative. At the same time, the selected alternative is compared in budget with the possibility of piping the new path, and this last choice becomes 93% more expensive than the one of an open channel as a new path.
