Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el movimiento estudiantil de la Universidad de Concepción opositor al régimen de Augusto Pinochet, estableciendo la influencia de las subjetividades juveniles de sus miembros en la orientación de su activismo político. El marco cronológico se extiende desde la irrupción de los militares el 11 de septiembre de 1973 hasta el año 1986, destacando este último período por ser el año en el que habría comenzado a declinar el auge del movimiento universitario penquista. Enmarcado en los márgenes investigativos de la Historia Reciente, este trabajo recurre a un enfoque teórico metodológico amparado en la Nueva Historia Política, es decir, en la relevancia de esa subjetividad humana en la profundización social del estudio de la política. Las fuentes de análisis principales serán los archivos periodísticos de diario El Sur y El Diario Color, las memorias oficiales de la Universidad de Concepción, revistas y semanarios del período como Análisis y APSI; y por último, los testimonios y memorias de quienes fueron estudiantes de la casa de estudios durante el período analizado. Con ellas aspiramos a dimensionar la actividad política del movimiento como una reacción frente a la imposición sociocultural del régimen, gatillada por una necesidad de identificación juvenil individual y colectiva, y expresada en unidades generacionales marcadas por la clandestinidad y la represión. Dicha situación habría cristalizado en una cultura política distinguida por el impulso de resistir la supresión de las libertades, solidarizar con los estudiantes reprimidos y organizar espacios e instancias de interacción política que pudieran remecer el orden militar en el campus.
The objective of this research is to analyze the student movement of the Universidad de Concepción, which opposed the regime of Augusto Pinochet, establishing the influence of the youth subjectivities of its members in the orientation of their political activism. The chronological frame extends from the military irruption on September 11, 1973 until 1986, highlighting this last period for being the year in which the peak of the university movement in Concepción began to decline. Framed in the investigative margins of Recent History, this work resorts to a methodological theoretical approach based on the New Political History, that is to say, in the relevance of that human subjectivity in the social deepening of the study of politics. The main sources of analysis will be the journalistic archives of the newspapers El Sur and El Diario Color, the official memories of the Universidad de Concepción, magazines and weeklies of the period such as Análisis and APSI; and finally, the testimonies and memories of those who were students of the university during the period under analysis. With them we aspire to dimension the political activity of the movement as a reaction to the socio-cultural imposition of the regime, triggered by a need for individual and collective youth identification, and expressed in generational units marked by clandestinity and repression. This situation would have crystallized in a political culture distinguished by the impulse to resist the suppression of freedoms, to show solidarity with repressed students and to organize spaces and instances of political interaction that could shake the military order on campus.
