Abstract
En este estudio se analizó la gestión del aceite lubricante automotriz usado dentro de la región de Ñuble, asimismo, se examinaron las pérdidas no cuantificadas y flujos no declarados del residuo. Por medio de la investigación entre las tendencias del parque vehicular y la generación de este residuo, se estimó la generación de 3713 toneladas de aceite lubricante automotriz usado dentro de la región de Ñuble. Este resultado indicó discrepancias entre las cifras que se declararon en bases de datos gubernamentales durante el año 2022. Finalmente, mediante una revisión bibliográfica de las alternativas de valorización, se determinó la necesidad de introducir nuevas tecnologías al área de estudio. Por otra parte, se realizó un ensayo de viabilidad de jabón industrial a partir de este residuo. Sin embargo, se demostró que realizar un jabón de limpieza industrial es impráctico, debido a la complejidad de remoción de partículas de combustión, la concentración de aceite vegetal usado y las manchas residuales al aplicar el producto.
This study analyzed the management of used automotive lubricating oil in the Ñuble region and examined unquantified losses and undeclared waste flows. By investigating trends in the vehicle fleet and the generation of this waste, it was estimated that 3713 tons of used automotive lubricating oil were generated in the Ñuble Region. This result indicated discrepancies between the figures reported in government databases during the year 2022. Finally, through a bibliographic review of the valorization alternatives, the need to introduce innovative technologies to the study area was determined. On the other hand, a feasibility test of industrial soap from this waste was conducted. However, it was demonstrated that making an industrial cleaning soap is impractical, due to the complexity of removing combustion particles, the concentration of used vegetable oil and the residual stains when applying the product.
