The present research was born with the objective of making visible the handmade clay crafts made by the women artisans of Quebrada de las Ulloa and Rere in the Biobío region. Where, qualitative research was used with an ethnographic approach, semi structured interviews, framed in the FIC-R 2022 project “installation of heritage markets in Biobío”. During the research, the importance of women artisans to the cultural heritage of the Biobío region is highlighted, to the resignification of the female role in the preservation of handmade clay crafts, tradition, innovation, highlighting their contribution to the artisanal sector.
