Item Bordadoras de Copiulemu: La contribución femenina al patrimonio cultural de la región del Biobío.(Universidad de Concepción, 2024) Bastías González, Camila; Catacora Alcayaga, Valeria; Fritz Horzella, Heidi; Aravena Reyes, Mónica Andrea PaulinaThis research examines the contribution of the Bordadoras de Copiulemu to the cultural heritage of the Biobío region, focusing on the artisans' experiences and their impact on collective identity, historical memory, and gender perspectives within the heritage domain. Employing a qualitative approach that integrates phenomenological and ethnographic methodologies, the study utilized semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations to explore the meanings and experiences these women attribute to their artisanal work. Key findings highlight elements of craftsmanship that reflect rural life and local worldviews. Additionally, the study reveals that their artisanal practices foster both individual and collective empowerment by enabling access to new social participation spaces and affirming their role as key actors in transmitting traditional knowledge. The research concludes that the Bordadoras de Copiulemu are active cultural agents whose practices enhance their autonomy and illuminate women's contributions to cultural heritage, underscoring the importance of integrating a gender perspective in heritage processes.Item Contribución de las artesanas de Quebrada de las Ulloa y Rere a la alfarería Patrimonial en la Región del Biobío.(Universidad de Concepción, 2024) Coronado Garcés, Ana Javiera; Fritz Horzella, Heidi; Aravena Reyes, Mónica Andrea PaulinaThe present research was born with the objective of making visible the handmade clay crafts made by the women artisans of Quebrada de las Ulloa and Rere in the Biobío region. Where, qualitative research was used with an ethnographic approach, semi structured interviews, framed in the FIC-R 2022 project “installation of heritage markets in Biobío”. During the research, the importance of women artisans to the cultural heritage of the Biobío region is highlighted, to the resignification of the female role in the preservation of handmade clay crafts, tradition, innovation, highlighting their contribution to the artisanal sector.
